Altrenative Stress Reliever

It’s a new year, and this is the year you are happy and focused on your work activities and personal life. How to do accomplish that? By eating of course!

Though there is a catch…you have to eat certain foods that contribute to a healthy emotional and physical well-being. Whether you are looking for a job or are an employer who has the responsibility of overseeing many people, both situations can wear a person down — and eating right can help you fight against stress.

Below is a list of four foods that can help you stay focused and energized even when the world is resting on your shoulders!

1. Apples: Give up your daily coffee for an apple and feel just as energized. It is said that one apple is equivalent to one cup of coffee. Plus, coffee is a legal addictive stimulate that contributes to headaches and yellow teeth.

2. Black beans: They are high in fiber and digests slowly. They will help you stay full so you won’t feel the need to eat bad snacks during the workday. I know you have a secret stash of Pringles somewhere in your desk!

3. Bananas: These awesome fruits help you fight back against cramps. People who have desk jobs usually have high stress and cramp levels in their shoulders from being on the computer for hours at a time. The magnesium in bananas will help release that tension.

4. Oranges: In fruit or juice form, this fruit is a great source for B vitamins, which are said to help prevent depression.

Have you found other types of food that help you be a happier, more productive person? Post them here so others may learn from you!
