In a battle of the sexes, LinkedIn found that men are the savviest networkers.
Savvy Networker – A professional with a robust network of trusted business contacts who actively works toward creating new career opportunities for themselves and the people in their networks.
The study compared men and women’s networking skills on LinkedIn based on “the ratio of one-way connections that men have to connections that women have, and the ratio of male members on LinkedIn to female members.” LinkedIn labeled an industry as “female savvy” if 45% of the industry is female and women have 70% of the connections.
