Signs Your Employee Is Overworked [INFOGRAPHIC]

Often employers don’t realize when their workers are stressing from the pressure of a heavy workload. But nearly half of all American workers say their job is “very or extremely stressful,” and one in four workers say their job is the most stressful aspect of their lives. So how can you tell if your employees are feeling overworked?

An infographic from Mashable shows how employees behave when they’re feeling strained. Different employees will show very different signs of anxiety, but there are some particular behaviors to watch out for. Stressed employees tend to be irritable, quick to anger, have a poor memory, have bad time management, and show a lower quality of work. Stressed employees will also call in sick more frequently, and tardy employees are certainly not good for any company.

Overworking employees can also have an impact on their health. Sixty-six percent of employees suffer from stress-related health issues, including headaches, fatigue, high blood pressure, and sleeplessness. Employers should learn how to spot worker stress so they can accomodate them accordingly. Check out the infographic below for more information, and read more on Mashable here.
