Three out of four Americans work more than 40 hours per week, one in three of which work more than 50 hours. This means today’s professionals spend roughly a third of their time at work. Factor in eight hours per night for sleep, and there’s barely enough time for professionals to spend quality time with family and friends, let alone hit the gym for a great workout.
That’s why Kinesiology Therapeutic Tape created an infographic detailing eight simple exercises professionals can do before and during work. Exercises vary from the obvious (riding your bike to work, taking the stairs instead of the elevator) to the innovative (chair dips, desk pushups, and chair pick ups). And while some of the exercises obviously prevent work getting done, others like the shoulder shrug, lower-body lifts, and cubicle wall-sits actually look like you can strive toward career advancement and a healthier body simultaneously.
The infographic even explains how to treat injuries undoubtedly caused by overly aggressive leg squats.
