Well foodie, it’s time you considered a career catering to your status as a food and drink aficionado. While you may not have gone to culinary school, there are still a variety of career options available for those with an interest in food.

Here are seven foodie jobs you should consider:

1. Food blogger: If you love food and also have a knack for writing, food blogging might be right up your alley. Whether you work in-house at a publication or freelance for a variety of outlets–this is one job sure to put your foodie skills to the test. Kickstart your future in blogging by creating your own personal food blog.

2. Corporate caterer: This relatively new career option plays to the need for companies to feed their employees and clients. This position calls for a variety of different skills: menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and project management. Not to mention, there’s a variety of different companies springing up with available positions.

3. Sales representative: When it comes to sales positions, passion is key to excelling. There are a variety of different careers you can take as a sales representative in the food industry, from working trade shows and conventions to managing sales with current customers. If you are a skilled sales foodie, then this is the perfect opportunity for you.

4. Catering director: This position entails managing dining experiences for events. If you’re a foodie with a passion for event planning and working on a budget, look no further. This is usually an all-in-one position and involves a wide variety of food knowledge mixed with a keen sense of planning.

5. Nutritionist: Requiring a background in food and nutrition, this position can take a foodie in a variety of different directions–from hospital to a work-from-home setting. Nutritionists are health gurus who often provide plans for weigh loss and management.

6. Food photographer: Even if photography is just your hobby, there’s always room to turn something you love into a career. With the booming food industry, a job in food photography could be the perfect mix of passions to set you apart. You might consider freelancing or working directly for a publication in this position.

7. Food stylist: This may be one of the coolest jobs in the world. Just like models need stylists their during photo shoots–so do the cheeseburgers in fast food advertisements. Food styling is certainly a niche trade, but it’s something to look into if you have a love for food and a creative eye.
