Resunate Twitter Chat Creation & Implementation

Situation

Client wanted to create a Twitter chat focused around resumes to help promote a new product and boost their visibility online among job seekers, career center professionals, recruiters, and employers.

Action

The Come Recommended team assisted the client with the concept, name, implementation, and growth of the Twitter chat through content development — such as preview and wrap-up blog posts, Twebevent updates, and video content — social media marketing, running and participating in the chat, and securing guest hosts.

Results

The client’s chat, #ResuChat, has grown significantly since January 2012 and helped increase the client’s Twitter following by 53%. It also increased the client’s influence and engagement with their audience. Additionally, Come Recommended and the client have secured expert guest hosts in resume writing, image consulting, personal branding, and internships, among other topics.
